Torbanlea State School is proud to be an important part of the Torbanlea -Howard-Burrum Heads and Toogoo​m communities. Our school values strong partnerships with families, local organisations, businesses and community groups, recognising that positive relationships support student learning, wellbeing and engagement.

Parents and Citizens’ (P&C) Association

The Torbanlea State School Parents and Citizens’ (P&C) Association plays a vital role in supporting the school and strengthening links between families, staff and the wider community.

The P&C Association:

  • Provides opportunities for parents and carers to be involved in school decision‑making
  • Supports school programs, activities and resources
  • Helps foster a welcoming and inclusive school community
  • Encourages collaboration between families and the school

All parents and carers are welcome to attend meetings and become involved. Participation in the P&C is a valuable way to contribute to school life and support positive outcomes for students.


Working Together as a School Community

Torbanlea State School values the contribution of families and community members in supporting student learning and wellbeing. Strong partnerships help create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

Community involvement may include:

  • Supporting school events and activities
